MBF Launching Mumbai Chapter
Maratha Businessmen Forum ‘&’ Akhil Maratha Federation’ organized MARATHA SANMAN SOHALA 2018’ on 7th February 2018 at Kamgar Maidan, Elphinstone Road, Mumbai.
It gave not only a holistic view of the Maratha tradition, culture, history but also experts Panvel Discussion were held on challenges and opportunities, career guidance for youth and also organization who has been working for the betterment of the society for years had been felicitated with Awards with successful Maratha Entrepreneurs .
It showcase the Maratha tradition and culture of Maharashtra, wherein Exhibitions of mainly of traditional costumes and jewelery, forts, weapons, Maratha literature, modern agriculture, skill development.
And also on this occasion, the audience got the opportunity to taste the food culture of Konkan, Khandes, Vidarbha various parts of Maharashtra.
Launch Of MBF in Satara, Satara Chapter
2nd industrial visit (Study and tour) was held at Baramati, Satara, and Pune (Shirwal) wherein MBF member’s from different Chapter’s Participated.
At Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Baramati) members got information about opportunities available in modern farming such as Poultry, Playhouse, Seed Processing Unit, Soil Lab, Weather Station, Dairy, Farm, Goatry, Fish Farming, Bio Control Lab, Fruit Processing Unit.
On second day member’s visited Corona Cheese factory at Satara, wherein member’s got to know as how and what ingredients are required for making various types of cheese and how to increase production of the Cheese.
After departure from Satara we visited to Global Food Private Ltd. at shirwal, Pune wherein different produce from agriculture were processed and exported. Mr. Vikas Dhangat Director of the Company shared valuable information about as to how we can not only help Entrepreneurs to grow but farmer’s too.

MBF Launching Ratnagiri Chapter
Annual General Meeting of the 'Maratha Businessmen's Forum' was organized at Dadar Club on 17th September 2017. The event was attended by the Managing and Executive Committee members of the Maratha Businessmen Forum, as well as members of Thane, Pune, Ratnagiri, Satara, Nashik and Palghar and representatives from all Maratha community organizations.
The President, General Secretary and Treasurer of various reputed Maratha organizations of Maharashtra attended and were honoured.
The program was inaugurated by President Adv. Apapaheb Pawar and Executive President Shri. Arunrao Pawar. Life Member of the Forum and Chairman of Sawantwadi Institute Maratha Society Indrajit Sawant expressed his gratitude for the platform and urged the Maratha Businessmen Forum to open its branch not just in India but also abroad.
The Vice President of the Forum, Shri Rajendra Sawant, briefed the Maratha community on how to take their steps in the business world and how to help build the community through the Maratha Businessmen Forum and the objectives of networking meeting and the importance of frequent such sessions for many emerging entrepreneurs.
First Industrial visit (Study Tour) was organised in Konkan and First halt was at Chiplun at Samarth Savli Hotel of Mrs. Rajashri Vishwasrao, who is member of Managing Committee and also Director of Hotel, wherein member’s enjoyed their morning Breakfast.
Thereafter we visited Gadre Marine, Ratnagiri, India's largest fishing product exporter and internationally-known company.
Members of the forum also got to see and experience new project of floating dry dock at the Katale Shipyard at Ratnagiri, of Vice-President of the Forum, and everyone was delighted that a Maratha entrepreneur was trying to embark on a world beyond imagination.
Thane Chapter was launehed on 9th April 2017 in the gracious presence of Executive President Mr. Arun Pawar and Vice President Mr. Rajendra Sawant in the Presence of Entrepreneurs from various fields of Thane.
On March 21, 2017 Maratha Businessmen Forum organized a training program for entrepreneurs, wherein expert training was provided as on how to build your own identity in the industry and how to overcome the challenges and problems that entrepreneurs face.
Shri. Suresh Babanrao (Regional Officer, Maharashtra Center for Entrepreneurship Development) provided guidance on Government schemes and also informed as how to get new business opportunities from Maharashtra Center for Entrepreneurship Development.
Pramod Baliram Satam (Industrial Affiliate Consultancy Services- Proprietor & Rtd. Government Officer) and also MBF Life Member gave unparalleled guidance on how to raise capital for the Industry.
Executive President, Shri. Arunrao Pawar (Chief Commissioner, Income Tax Department Mumbai Retired) provided guidance on the Income Tax.
Chief Advisor of MBF Mr. Rajendra Ghag, (HDFC, Life Insurance), guided the entrepreneurs on how to select the right staff while doing business and to get best performance from them.
